Sandel Avionics is a leading maker of avionics componetry for consumer and business aviation, including everything from Boeing 737's and 747's, to police and air ambulance helicopters around the world, to smaller Cessna and Piper aircraft. When they needed to upgrade and expand their LAMP stack (Linux / Apache / PHP / MySQL) website, we were honored they chose Kansas CIty Web Development to do the work.
Their website includes e-commerce functionality, allowing registered owners to purchase upgrades to their avionics units, such as updated navigational software and maps. The website also features many complex forms which store and retrieve data in a SQL database backend, including forms that must be filled out before every installation of a Sandel Avionics unit. The forms we designed have saved numerous man-hours, automating a job that was once performed by hand.
This website numbering several hundred pages, as well as more than just a few website forms with scores of data fields, had previously been managed with no server side scripting, comparitively little usage of a database backend, and required striping out tens of thousands of lines of code generated by Microsoft FrontPage. Accuracy was extrememly important in this project because the Federal Aviation Administration regulates the combinations of avionics equipment, airframe, and supporting instrumentation of aircraft in service.

The Kansas City Chamber Orchestra is celebrating the beginning of its 21st season in 2007. They needed someone to quickly update their existing website with current information, so they turned to Kansas City Web Development for assistance.
Casa Karma

Casa Karma is a luxurious vacation property in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Their website runs on the LAMP stack (Linux / Apache / PHP / MySQL) and has been very instrumental in tripling the rental income generated by the property. This luxury rental has barely had an empty night since we designed their website.
The calendar showing availability of the villa also has an administrative console that allows the owners to easily keep track of guest visits. Additionally, the owners tell us that their rental agents just rave about how easy the site is to use.

Young Women on the Move

This non-profit group works to provide positive options and mentoring for inner city youth in Kansas City. They turned to Kansas City Web Development because the forum software on their LAMP stack (Linux / Apache / PHP / MySQL) website was not as secure and private as they needed. We migrated their users to several Drupal systems, set up several Yahoo Groups for the staff and mentors, and gave their website a nice facelift as well expanding it by quite a few pages.
