Who Is Kansas City Web Development?
Kansas City Web Development is owned by Ken Krauss, who is also the lead developer. Ken has over a decade of experience developing websites and their back-end SQL databases, including multi-million dollar e-commerce websites, and extremely complex and custom website applications.
Ken has been programming computers since the first Apple II's and IBM PC's came out when he was a child. Forget about the internet, the graphical user interface was only a far-off dream then! Ken's first online experience was as a Prodigy and BBS user in 1991, using transmission rates more than 10,000 times slower than today's broadband connections. However, with the dramatic changes to the internet, and technology, as well as programming, Ken has crafted his skill set over the years to accomodate the changes in web development.
Ken began hand-coding HTML based websites in 1998, then began developing websites for clients in 1999, but did not use the Kansas City Web Development name until a few years later. In 2002, due to the amount of requests for computer service by clients and friends, Ken started Computer Help Personalized to provide computer service to businesses and home users.
